It all started with a badly scratched crystal that of course didn't survive the crystal press.

This is one of the odd shape watch case where NOS replacement crystal is unobtainium and I suspect any donor crystal wouldn't survive the crystal press either.

I will skip my pathetic attempt with hand-sanding a acrylic plate, which fits on but won't shield the dial from dust and moisture.

Same treatment as the Seiko 0843-5010 but I needed to add another top edge because the horizontal edges are only ever so slightly curved.

Here is the dxf if anyone is interested in getting it cutted, slanted edge excluded.

Fits like a glove.

Since I got a new 20x loupe might as well have a look at the printed text on the dials.
